meet the staff

All of our adult staff members are certified physical education teachers and licensed coaches. We offer a low camper to coach ratio to allow our coaches to provide individual instruction to players, while also

giving them a chance to ask questions in a small group setting and get immediate feedback. The staff

is trained in CPR, first aid and safety, and concussion protocol. Our passionate, knowledgeable staff

will help your child become a better player, meet new friends, and become a better person.

Dave Scagnelli

He has been a physical education teacher for 32 years, currently teaching at Scarsdale High School. Dave has 35 years experience coaching softball at the high school level.

SCAGNELLI

She is a certified Montessori teacher with 8 years experience. Victoria will be responsible for all the activities during our arts & crafts sessions, which will take place 2-3 times during each week of camp. She is also certified
in CPR.

Gabby Mazzotta

She has been the starting catcher for Somers Varsity Softball Team for 4 years. Gabby also plays tournament softball for the TC Futures 18U Showcase Team. Gabby has accepted a full scholarship to play softball at Manhattan College starting in the fall of 2019.

Joe dimaio

Joe DiMaio joins our staff this year as a seasoned educator and coach. Joe was a teacher for 10 years teaching both history and physical education. He transitioned to administration in 2005 and is currently the Assistant Principal at Eastchester High School. Joe has a plethora of coaching experience at multiple levels. He has coached football, basketball, baseball, soccer and softball. Joe has coached at Bloomsburg University (football), Tuckahoe High School (football, basketball, baseball and softball), Scarsdale High School (football and baseball), Lehman High School (football) and currently the 10U head coach and 12U assistant coach for Scarsdale travel.
